Apartment Tour!

Kyle and I recently moved to Coeur d'Alene and are in a new apartment and I thought it would be fun to do an apartment tour!

I've been having so much fun putting together our little home, and making this space our own! I've never been super good at decorating a space, but I've been spending a lot of time on Pinterest getting inspiration!

One thing I was not prepared for was how expensive artwork can be! I'm someone who doesn't like spending a lot of money on something unless I have to, so buying home decor can be a little difficult because everything is so expensive! Thankfully my parents had bought us our wedding prints for our first Christmas married so we already had those. A lot of the artwork that we have is stuff that I made, painted, or got at thrift stores.

Living Room. Things are always a work in progress around here and I shift the furniture around all the time. I guarantee it won't look like this a month from now because I'll get bored. I love switching the furniture around for a new look! It's always so fun. We bought our sofa at big lots and we love it! So comfy! I've also linked everything else I can from the living room here.

Kitchen. I love our kitchen! And this rug just adds the pop of color it needs. There's not a lot I can do to change things up in here, but I love it the way it is so that's no problem! I've linked all I can from my kitchen here.

Dining Nook. This dining nook is so cute and I've already switched up where I had the table a million times. We are actually getting a new table from my in-laws that's bigger here in the next week or so which I'm so excited about! We had this table from our first apartment which was literally half the size of this one, so we are ready to get something a little bigger. We are also getting a dining hutch from my parents in the next week or so! This room is going to change a lot in a short amount of time, so I might need to do an update with all that soon! Guest Bath. This bathroom is such a great size, and I really wanted to bring some color into it and I love the way it turned out! The painting on the wall I painted myself. I've linked everything I can from the guest bathroom here.

Office. This room is the second bedroom, but we made it into Kyle's office since he works from home. We added this futon in here which I think looks great, but honestly isn't all that comfy. I guess we will just keep it around for looks! I love these little shelves that Kyle found because they are so cute and they are perfect for all of his stuff. I've linked everything I can here.

Main Bed & Bath. The size of this bedroom is amazing. It is perfect! again with this room it's a work in progress. I really want to paint our dresser and bookshelf a matte gray and add legs to the bookshelf so I really think that will elevate the look of the room and just bring it all together. When I finally do that I will update that as well! And the bathroom is great too! As you can see from the photos we both keep everything out on the counters, but I love it!
