Life Lately: August 2021

It's been about 6 months now since I've posted a life lately blog, so I thought I'd share an update here! We have been living in Coeur d'Alene for about 9 months now, and we have been having so much fun! I do have to say that summer is my favorite season here. The weather is spectacular, there are so many fun things to do, and it has just been so hot!

What have I been up to lately? These last few months have been pretty good! It's definitely been a good year. I turned 24 this year, and Kyle took me out to dinner and I got to buy myself some new houseplants! I do love my plants :)

My best friend got married this year, and she was the most beautiful bride! We had such an amazing time celebrating her and her new husband. They are the cutest!

Kyle and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary in June, and honestly I can't believe we've been married for 2 years! We didn't have any big anniversary date/trip, because life just didn't allow for that at this time. We are looking forward to an anniversary trip or just a fun vacation in the future! We did get to have a fun date night downtown :)

This summer in CDA had been so much fun, and we've had some fun boat days and lake days with family on my Aunt & Uncle's boat! The weather has been crazy hot to the point where if you're not in the water or in an air conditioned place you would be quite miserable!

Another of my best friends is about to have her first kid so we got the chance to celebrate her at her baby shower, and she is just the cutest little mama! I am so so excited to meet her little girl!

We took our youth students to summer camp at the end of July, and we had such a good time hanging out with them, and seeing God start amazing things in their lives. It was so much fun, and I feel so honored to be able to help minister to these students and walk with them on this journey. I'm so excited for what's to come!

Got to celebrate my husband's 24th birthday by surprising him with one of his best friends coming to town, and it was so awesome! We had breakfast together, and it was just an awesome time. I'm terrible at keeping secrets, but I was able to keep this one and it was so good!

We've definitely had a lot of fun over the last few months, but also some pretty average days. It's been a great summer up to now, but it's not over yet! We've still got a few hot days left before falls comes.
