Life Lately: February 2021

Wow! It's been awhile since I've written a new blog with a life update and a lot has happened since then! I posted in October that Kyle and I were moving to Coeur d'Alene, ID and we have loved living here! To recap, we moved over here to be part of Legacy Church in Liberty Lake, WA which is right on the border of WA and ID. We have joined the youth team, and I even got a job as an admin in the church. This move has been so awesome for us and we are so grateful that we took the leap and moved over here.

The last few months have been awesome, but challenging at the same time. We decided to move here without having jobs and just off of our savings, and to be honest we were excited for the adventure but my anxiety was through the roof. I kept thinking about it and freaking out and wondering how we were going to pay our bills, but God always provided for us. We really had nothing to worry about, and there was no reason to stress because God has never left us out in the rain and I didn't have any reason to believe he would do that now. God has always provided for me and us when we needed it, so I had to remind myself of that every day.

During this time I have been so thankful for Kyle because he has been my steady rock and the one who keeps me sane. He reminded me that there is no reason to stress and worry about anything because it doesn't help the situation at all. It is pointless to worry, because nothing can get done by worrying. This has been a season that has really challenged my faith in such a healthy way and has cause me to rely on God more than I ever have before, and even though it was hard I knew God was in control and wouldn't let me down.

All of that to say that God has provided for us more than we can imagine and Kyle and I both have jobs now and our faith has grown so much!

We have also grown a lot in our marriage. We have been married for a year and half now, and this season of moving away and really only having each other has cause us to grow much closer. I will be honest and say there have been times that are harder than others, but ultimately our marriage has grown stronger. No marriage is going to be easy, it's always going to take work. I am just so grateful to have an amazing husband that I enjoy putting in the work with.

Life had been good in the last few months. God has really blessed us and provided for us more than we deserve, and I am so grateful.

Enjoy some pictures from the last few months, and thanks for reading my blog post!
