This is probably the biggest life update I've had in awhile, but I am so excited because my husband and I are moving to Coeur D'Alene, Idaho! This is a really big move for us because our whole lives have been in the Seattle area, and we are leaving so much behind. But we are just so excited for a new opportunity and a new adventure!
We are moving because we got the opportunity to be on the youth team at a church in Liberty Lake, WA, which is 20 min from Coeur d'Alene. We couldn't pass up the opportunity after we visited the church because we felt God's presence so strongly there and we knew He was calling us there.
I have always dreamed of living in CDA so I am so excited for this next step for us! As excited as we are it is also such a big step for us, since like I said everything we know is in the Seattle area. We will miss all of our friends and family so much!
I have never moved out of the state like this before, and neither has Kyle so it is really going to be an adventure for us. I love adventures and I'm always up for trying something new.
When the opportunity was presented to us to move we weren't too excited about it and thought it would be too hard to pick up leave, but we decided to go into the situation with an open mind and an open heart and prayed that God would lead us. We visited the church and immediately felt God so strongly and knew that we had to be here and that this was where God was calling us.
Once we were there we felt God was really speaking to us saying we needed to be there, and just like that things starting falling into place and solidifying what we felt God was saying to us.
We thought it was going to be a difficult decision, but God has made a way for us and we are so grateful. We already found a place to live, but are still looking for jobs. At first I was so stressed out about it, but Kyle reminded me that God is in control and that everything would work out. I tend to overthink things and it stresses me out, and it's not like I don't know that God is in control, it's just that sometimes I let my own thoughts and emotions get in the way of remembering that. I am thankful for my husband who keeps me grounded and reminds me of that when I need it.
All that to say, we are moving and are very excited for the new adventure ahead of us!
