Snow Days!

We had a couple snow days last week, and it was crazy! We hardly ever get snow here so it was so fun to actually have snow for like a whole week! Last year we had a crazy snow storm that lasted almost 3 weeks, but this year it was just less than a week, which was much more reasonable. Snow is cool because it brings a little bit of chaos in to your life and makes you pause what you're doing and reset. It snowed quite a bit for about 3 whole days, but it was not enough to cancel work. I had a couple days of late starts, but by Friday I was back to my normal schedule.

It was weird having those days because it messed up my normal and had me doing things differently than I normally did them, and it was nice to slow down a little and just enjoy things a bit more. Snow is just so much fun, and really adds another level of excitement to things. It gives me an excuse to sit around watching movies and drink hot cocoa and cider!

All that to say, snow days are fun and I like the excuse to slow down a bit and enjoy it. Now I'm ready to get back to normal! Full days of work, and classes back in full swing as well.
