Snow Days in CDA!

After recently moving to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho snow days have become much different! Growing up in the Seattle area whenever we would get snow it would shut the world down for a couple days because no one knew what to do! Living in CDA had been a much different experience for sure. As soon as it snows there are plows out on the main roads and everyone has snow tires and just keeps going about their business! It's actually kind of exciting and I love it!

It was a little weird to get used to at first, but I'm totally digging it now. While we have got some snow it came pretty late this year. We've had the most calm winter people from around here have seen in awhile. It's been quite strange because for a week it will be in the 40s and sunny, then a week later its getting down to single digits! And now its in the 20s and low 30s and we are getting snow! It took a little while, but winter has officially come here in CDA!

Though I am grateful it wasn't so bad with it being our first winter here, I've been able to get used to the cold and driving in the snow. I'm looking forward to more snow days here!
