Spring Cleaning!

It is that time of year where the sun is coming out more, the days are longer, and I am much happier! Spring is my favorite time of year, and always has been mostly because my birthday is the first day of spring. This is also the time of year I like to look at my clothes and clean out my closet, move furniture around and just try to get a fresh look for the new season. I've been doing a lot of online shopping lately and so I have added a lot of new clothes to my closet as well as home decor so it's time to do a little spring cleaning and purge some old clothes and shoes and things I don't need. We will see how this next little while goes.

Since I am stuck at home with the social distancing, and with it being spring now, I thought I would do a little spring cleaning and share some of the results with you all. My hope is to organize all my cupboards, the closet, and bathroom. We shall see what all I get to, but I will share some before and after photos with you all.

So here are the before pics of my messy apartment. Being home so much lately things just start to pile up, and I finally got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore so I decided we are going full cleaning mode. We also just went grocery shopping and I hadn't put all the groceries away yet, so just a total mess. So this week is focused solely on organizing, purging, and getting things in order. We've got a lot of laundry and dishes to do, so let's get started!

I finally got everything organized and put away, and let me tell you it feels so good to have a clean and organized home! I even moved some furniture around to get a different feel in the place, and I love it!

It felt so good to finally be able to do the cleaning and organizing that I've been wanting to do. I've been so busy with school and working that I haven't been able to do the serious cleaning I wanted to do. I am thankful I had the time to do this. I wasn't able to get to my closet yet and do any purging, but all my clothes are put away and organized. I will have to clean out my closet another time.
